Midnight's Promise is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser from April 4th - June 3rd to raise funds to support its mission to rescue horses from abuse, neglect and slaughter.  We will earn funds based on the pairs of shoes collected.

All donated shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise (small business) partners. Funds2Orgs works with micro-entrepreneurs in helping them create, maintain and grow small businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited. Proceeds from the sales of the shoes collected in shoe drive fundraisers are used to feed, clothe and house their families. One budding entrepreneur in Haiti even earned enough to send to her son to law school.

This shoe drive fundraiser is also good for the environment.  Millions of pounds of used clothing and shoes find their way into US landfills every year.  By donating you used shoes, your shoes will go onto being worn by another individual or they can be repurposed to make insulation for houses or stuffing for upholstery.
