Tucker was an owner surrender from Iredell County Animal Control. He was thin, lice infested and wounded in both rear pasterns. Tucker has come back to health very quickly. We have started him back under saddle and our trainer thinks he has a good background. He would be fine for an intermediate rider.
Tucker is a big fellow, 16 hands, and has a sweet calm disposition. He has a lip tattoo indicative of a horse that has been on the race track. It appears that there are only 4 indecipherable characters which leads us to believe he's a Quarter Horse and not a Thoroughbred. Our vet puts him at between 11-12 years old.
